If interested, please reply to Curt Priest, the smell of smoke has wafted through La Fortuna, and ash has rained down. I heard a big boom the other day, but when I ran out the top was in the clouds so I couldn’t tell if it was from the volcano or something else. Perhaps the volcano is not as sleepy as people think? Those of us that live in La Fortuna loved when it had its daily eruptions, usually four or five times per day. The volcano has been clear most days this week and you can see the steady stream of smoke and hot gases coming out of the tip. Does this mean a big eruption is coming? Only time will tell.–Wendy Holt & Lynn Facebook Commentslast_img read more
